About this course
Some conversations leave us energised and clearer. Others leave us feeling less intelligent than before. It is tempting to put this down to the other person, but most of us have had both good and bad conversations with the same people.
There is a hidden and manageable factor behind the difference, and manageable means something can be done about it. This course looks at what and who creates the difference between conversations that clarify and those that confuse, and how to steer a discussion back towards something useful when it starts to drift.
No team will have good conversations every time. The aim is to raise the share of conversations that are worth having, and to create conditions in which insightful discourse becomes the norm in a company rather than the exception.
